The purpose of this study is to identify the poverty perspective and alleviation strategies in Indonesia. Poverty one problems still facing Given that problem Indonesia a complex multifaceted problem, reduction efforts should be carried out comprehensive manner, covering various aspects people's lives implemented an integrated manner. According forecasts growth, income distributed unevenly among all segments population, there imbalance between growth equity. Observing some mistakes paradigm, where analysis bring forefront variables reduction, exactly those significant, adopted poverty: also only prioritize aspect, pay attention other dimensions; increase capacity productivity, chosen basic ability poor income; involvement whole process reduction; empowerment strategy.
